The 1200 Club is a free recognition program for any ORRC club member who runs or walks 1,200 miles in one year (averaging 100/month, or about 25/week).

This scenic course starts and finishes in Blue Lake Park, offers views of the Columbia River, with a hot dog picnic afterwards. Includes a ½ mile Kids’ Run, making this another great family event. Autumn Leaves 50/50 – 50 mile & 50K Ultra Runs
Recreational and competitive ultra-marathoners from all over the West enjoy this unique running experience. Red and yellow maples dominate the fall colors along the Willamette River course and neighboring Champoeg Park campsites (including Yurts) are popular with runners pre- and post-race. Turkey Trot at the Oregon Zoo – November 26, 2015
The most popular ORRC race, the Turkey Trot at the Zoo is a multi-generational family event. Runners and walkers of all abilities love the 4-mile, untimed outing between the Oregon Zoo and the International Rose Gardens. Participants finish inside the zoo, much to the delight of two-legged and four-legged mammals alike and features three fun kids’ events.Approximately $25,000 of entry fees go to benefit the Oregon Zoo. Turkey Trot Registration Now Open
The most popular ORRC race, the Turkey Trot at the Zoo is a multi-generational family event. Runners and walkers of all abilities love the 4-mile, untimed outing between the Oregon Zoo and the International Rose Gardens. Participants finish inside the zoo, much to the delight of two-legged and four-legged mammals alike and features three fun kids’ events. Costumes encouraged, as is our post-race pumpkin pie. Join us for the Dual Duel on Wednesday, August 5 at 6 p.m.
Running and walking in circles doesn’t always mean finishing where you started. This afternoon/evening event features solo and two-person relays as well as a Kids’ Run on a beautiful 400M track overlooking the Willamette Valley and coastal mountains.
Since the event is held on a track, space is limited so make sure to register before it fills up.
