ORRC is proud to sponsor community organizations and youth groups that promote fitness, running and healthy lifestyles. As a part of our mission, ORRC donates a portion of its net revenue to groups and organizations that complement ORRC’s missions and goals. Funds are available on a first come first serve basis until funds run out, and must be applied for annually (Click here for our application form).
If you have a group or organization that could benefit from funding, or simply with non-monetary items such as medals, ribbons, or other give-aways, submit your application and ORRC would be happy to review it. We ask that all groups that receive funding to help promote healthy lifestyles and help volunteer at one of our ORRC events. If you’re interested in volunteering, please let us know.
Community Outreach Program funding shall be discussed and awarded at the March and the September ORRC Board of Director’s meetings. Funding applications are due by end of February and August respectively, to be considered at each of the March and September board meetings.
Please note, these funds are NOT for putting on individual running events or for raising money for a cause. They are for programs that promote running and healthy lifestyles in elementary schools, high schools, or non-profit organizations.
