President’s Challenge 2024
You do not need to register for any of these challenges! They are free as a member benefit, and the Challenge Coordinator will keep track of all finishers and volunteers of ORRC events, and check to ensure they are members at the end of the last event.
Why is ORRC Offering These Challenges?
- These challenges encourage membership, participation and volunteering at all of our events
- Each challenge gets progressively more difficult, and allows participants to adjust their goals based on fitness, and preferred distance
What are the Challenges?
5K Challenge
Any ORRC member who completes every 5K ORRC offers in the calendar year (January thru December) will receive a 15 oz barista mug listing the events in their challenge, and free entry into any one ORRC event in 2025
2024 5K Challenge Events:
- Ralph’s Run
- Hagg Lake
- Dave’s Solstice Run at Blue Lake
- Pumpkin Ridge Run
10K Challenge
Any ORRC member who completes every 10K ORRC offers in the calendar year (January thru December) will receive a 15 oz barista mug listing the events in their challenge, and free entry into any two ORRC events in 2025
2024 10K Challenge Events:

- Champoeg
- Hagg Lake
- Pumpkin Ridge Run
- Best Dam Run
10-Mile+ Challenge
Any ORRC member who completes every ORRC event that is 10 miles or longer in the calendar year (January thru December) will receive a 15 oz barista mug listing the events in their challenge, and free entry into any three ORRC events in 2025

President’s Challenge
Gold Challenge: Any ORRC member who either finishes or volunteers in EVERY ORRC event in the calendar year (January thru December) will receive a 15 oz barista mug listing the events in their challenge, and free entry into ALL ORRC events in 2025.
Silver Challenge: Any ORRC member who either finishes or volunteers in 9 out of 10 ORRC events in the calendar year (January thru December) will receive a 15 oz barista mug, and free entry into any five ORRC events in 2025.
Bronze Challenge: Any ORRC member who either finishes or volunteers in 8 out of 10 ORRC events in the calendar year (January thru December) will receive a 15 oz barista mug, and free entry into any four ORRC events in 2025.
