ORRC plans to discontinue the Best Dam Run after this year. So, this September 14, 2024 is your last chance to run the BDR’s beautiful and fast course along the Clackamas River.
Due to lower participation and a lack of volunteers to take on race director responsibilities, ORRC is reluctantly cutting Best Dam Run from its racing calendar in 2025. So, let’s have it go out with a bang! If you have run this event in the past, you know what a great course this is, with 5 miles of it being mostly downhill and closed to vehicular traffic before finishing in downtown Estacada.
