Date: Sunday, July 04, 2021
Time: 9:00am
For over a decade, we’ve hosted a free run to ORRC members on the 4th of July. Make this a family tradition and a great way to kick off your holiday picnic or barbecue. Costumes are welcome so don’t be afraid to show off your inner Uncle Sam. Includes free ¼ mile Kids’ Run. This year our event will be chip-timed.
The 2020 July 4th 5K, scheduled for July 4th, is canceled in accordance with Oregon Governor Brown’s continued restrictions on public gatherings. ORRC supports these restrictions to help keep all participants and volunteers safe and healthy.
The 2021 event will be in a new location in the Portland metro area. We have been hosted by Mentor Graphics for a number of years and we thank them for their hospitality. The Mentor Graphics business and property have been sold to Siemens and at this point they are no longer permitting outside organizations to use their property.
The information below is from the planned 2020 event and may be revised for 2021.
Our course is USATF certified – OR17013LBv3. Click here for the course map.
Like in 2019, the 2020 event will be chip-timed on our flat fast course.
No traffic that morning and easy parking for this event! There is no bib pickup ahead of this event. Come join us on the morning of the 4th!
Oregon Road Runners Club is excited to partner with the local charity, Reason to Run, in association with our July 4th 5K run/walk in Wilsonville, OR. Donate to their great program during the registration process.
If you’re not an ORRC member, you can still come to join the fun too! Find out more about the benefits of ORRC membership – click here.

This is accomplished through a multifaceted training program designed to encourage and support both new and experienced runners. This program has been implemented at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility (CCCF) in Wilsonville, Oregon.
Starting in 2019, ORRC will match donations to Reason to Run up to a total of $500. So please join us in helping the Reason to Run program.
