About the Turkey Trot

The Oregon Zoo The most popular ORRC race, the Turkey Trot at the Zoo is a multi-generational family event sponsored by Columbia Bank and the Oregon Road Runners Club. Runners and walkers of all abilities love the 4-mile, untimed outing between the Oregon Zoo and the International Rose Gardens. Participants finish inside the zoo, much to the delight of two-legged and four-legged mammals alike and features three fun kidsí events. Costumes encouraged, as is our post-race pumpkin pie. Itís a baby jogger friendly event.

Approximately $25,000 of entry fees go to benefit the Oregon Zoo.

Course

The course runs from the Zoo to the Japanese Gardens along a tree-lined road. Check out the map at USATF.
