Autumn Leaves is a 10k, 50k and 50 mile race held in the beautiful fall colors along the Willamette River at Oregon's popular Champoeg State Park.

All runners must begin their last lap no later than 4:00 pm or they will receive a DNF. No exceptions. So please plan your start time accordingly. THERE IS NO DAY OF RACE REGISTRATION.
Aid Stations
We will have two separate aid stations on the course. Runners will pass these stations 3 times. You will never be more than 2.5 miles from one. We will be serving Hammer Nutrition products again this year. We will have Heed Sports drink, Hammer Gels, water and the usual ultra foods at each station. If you have special needs let the Race Director know ahead of time.

50k - Awards for 1st through 3rd for men and women and Masters.
50 mile - Awards for 1st through 3rd for men and women and Masters.
All 50 mile finishers will receive the coveted ORRC Autumn Leaves custom belt buckle.
Since the race is close to Halloween if you feel the spirits move you, we will award two runners for being the best or most creatively dressed.
Tech Shirt
Each 50k and 50 mile participant will receive our popular ORRC Autumn Leaves technical running shirt at no extra cost. To keep our fees low for our 10k runners they will not receive a shirt unless pre-ordered for $20 more.
Packet Pickup
 Packet pickup will be on TBD at Road Runner Sports in Tualatin from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. They are located at 7063 SW Nyberg Road, in the Nyberg Woods Shopping Center. We will also have day of race packet pickup at the start line.
Runners who pick up their Autumn Leaves bibs and are Road Runner Sports VIP members will be privy to a "special" Race
Ready Discount on all their purchases that Friday if they come
into the store to pick up their packet!
Weather
Fall in Western Oregon can be most anything. Usually we have cool mornings (mid 30's) and cloudy afternoons. Dress for all weather types from sunny 70 degrees to rain and the mid 40's. You will have a dry area to leave your drop bags. Also if you get to the park early you might capture a prize spot right on the course to leave your car, which you would pass twice each lap.
Directions to Champoeg
Take I-5 Exit 278 (Aurora), 7 miles south of Wilsonville. Follow signs west approximately 5 miles to the park. Allow at least 45 minutes travel time from Portland or Salem. Please car pool to the start. We will only have about 130 parking spots if it has been raining in the days leading up to the race. If this happens we may have to park some runners over 1 mile from the start! Help out your fellow runners and car pool out to the park.(Parking is free!)
More Information
In 2010 our 50k and 50 mile men and women winners each were in the top 20 fastest times in the US according to Ultrarunning magazine.
This is the perfect next step for the Marathoner who wants a new challenge or the experienced distance runner looking for a new personal best time.
The 50 mile race is an approved and one of the last qualifiers of the year for the 2012 Western States 100 Trail Race.
Bring your headlamps! The sun does not rise until 7:45 am and it is very dark on the course even for the regular starters
This year the start will move up the hill to the Pavilion. We will have covered a shelter to store your equipment.
Camping and cabins are available at the Park.
Please CARPOOL again this year. If the weather is or has been wet we can not use the grass parking area and some runners may have to walk over 1 mile to the start line!
This race is the final race in the Oregon Road Runners Club's 10k series. The overall winner may be determined by this race.
This race will sell out. We are limited in size due to park limitations. Prior to opening registration we are already 50% capacity due to the ORRC 10k series participants. So sign
up early and don't miss out on one of the last Ultra's of the season.
